About "In the Hall of the Mountain King":

"In the Hall of the Mountain King" from the play, Peer Gynt is an orchestral work written by a Norwegian composer, Edvard Grieg (1843 - 1907) from the romantic era. Peer Gynt is probably the best-known work by Grieg. And "In the Hall of the Mountain King" is one of two most famous pieces along with "Morning" from Peer Gynt.

Tips for playing Level 1 "In the Hall of the Mountain King":

This particular arrangement for "In the Hall of the Mountain King" is at Level 2 (beginner's level). It's written in the key of F minor instead of the original key which is B minor, to accommodate beginners. You can stay in one position for the entire song for this arrangement, unlike other levels where hand positions move around often. However, this arrangement is a higher level of Level 1 because there are a lot of flats (b). After downloading it, please locate the hand-position on the hand-position tutorial page. Then, also find the black keys and fingerings for them that you are going to be using when you see a flat sign on the music score. Also, the important thing to remember is that the 2nd flatted note (and 3rd and 4th flatted notes if applicable) in the same measure has no flat sign on it, but you still need to consider that as a flat.
