About "Aria" from Goldberg Variations by J. S. Bach
This "Aria" is from Goldberg Variations by the German composer, Johann Sebastien Bach from the baroque era. He wrote the variations for harpsichord. However, you can play it on the piano or keyboard. Goldberg Variations contains 30 variations and the beginning Aria and ending Aria (the same as the beginning Aria).
Tips for playing Level 4 "Aria" from Goldberg Variations
This Level 4 "Aria" is in the original form. It's not arranged to be easier than the original. Usually, people see a lot of ornament markings on the score of "Aria," and players need to decide how they want to play those ornaments. However, on this edition of sheet music on this page, we actually notated all the notes instead of using the ornament markings after making our interpretations.
This arrangement does not require to use a damper (sustain) pedal. And no fingering numbers are provided. Take your time to play this piece slowly. And try your best to hold each note for the appropriate length. It is best for you to see where the 3 voices (parts) are happening simultaneously and also hear those 3 voices in your mind.
If you don't understand how it supposed to sound, please refer to our free complete audio sample on the top of this page before buying it or even after purchasing it to make it sound nice.
