About "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring":
"Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" was written by a German composer Johann Sebastien Bach (1685 – 1750) from the baroque era. It is one of the most popular pieces by Bach. It is the last movement (the 10th) from the cantata, Herz und Mund und Tat und Leben (Heart and Mouth and Deed and Life), BWV 147. Tips for playing Level 3 Celtic style "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring":
Even though "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" is the baroque piece, our particular arrangement here is in a unique Celtic style. It is at an easy level (Level 3). It is in the original key of G major. Since it rather is in the higher level of Level 3 (easy level), we provided fingerings for all the notes on the treble clef and some fingerings on the bass clef except repeated notes, to accommodate Level 3 piano players. And also the good news is that the left-hand stays mostly in the bass G 5-finger position or middle G 5-finger position. It's a refreshing sounding arrangement for the very old baroque music.
