About "Turkish March" by Beethoven:
"Turkish March" was composed by a German composer, Ludwig van Beethoven (1770 - 1827) from the classical era. It was written in the Turkish style. Often, many people associate it with The Ruins of Athens because "Turkish March" appears as the 4th movement in it. But he didn't write "Turkish March" for The Ruins of Athens. It was written originally separately before The Ruins of Athens was created. Also, please do not confuse this "Turkish March" with "Turkish March" composed by Mozart which is also very famous.
Tips for playing Level 2 "Turkish March" by Beethoven:
This arrangement of "Turkish March" on this page is at Level 2 (very easy). Although the originally it was written in the key of B flat major, this Level 2 arrangement of "Turkish March" is written in the key of F major. It has fingering numbers on all notes on the music score. There is only 1 black key that you need to play which is a B flat. If you see a flat sign (b) on the left side of a note, please go to the nearby black key which is also pictured on the tutorial page. And if you could leave your left-hand #2 finger on the black key (B flat) the whole time, you'll be able to play this song smoothly without trying to reach the black key each time. You'll be playing both melody notes and harmonic notes. Therefore, unlike "Turkish March" by Beethoven at Level 1, this Level 2 arrangement requires a lot more coordination with right and left hands and different fingers.
