More about this Level 1 "Brahms' Lullaby":
Brahms' Lullby's real title is Guten Abend, gute Nacht" ("Good evening, good night"), Op. 49, No. 4. It was written by a German composer, Johannes Brahms (1833 – 1897) from the romantic era. The original key is in E flat Major. However, to accommodate the beginners we arranged it in key of F Major. Please refer to the hand position tutorial page. As it mentioned in the tutorial page the b (flat) signs are on the left side of the notes. When you see that please use your left hand 2nd finger on B flat described on the picture on the tutorial page. Also remember that the 2nd B in a measure is also B flat even though it's not marked. This level 1 Brahms' Lullaby will play only the melody line (one note at a time). Therefore you'll not hear the harmonic support. If this level is too easy for you please try Level 2 of Brahms' Lullaby.
