Tips for playing Level 3 "Clair de lune" by Debussy
This particular arrangement is at Level 3 (Easy). And it's in the key of C major even though it was originally written in key or D flat major. However, the key of C is only a half step lower from the key of D flat. The fingering numbers are not provided for this level of "Clair de lune." This arrangement is a lot easier than the original. But it sounds as good as the original. Even though it is at Level 3, your hand-positions still have moved around quite a lot (especially left-hand). And please notice that the lower clef for the left-hand changes between the treble clef and bass clef a few times. The specific damper pedal markings are provided. You may want to follow that pedaling strictly to make flow very well.
