Tips for playing Level 1 "Habanera":
This particular level of piano solo arrangement is written for the beginner's level. Therefore, the fingering numbers are provided on all the notes. You can stay in one position for the entire song. After you download it, please take a look at hand-position tutorial page. The right-hand thumb and left-hand thumb share the key, 'E' in the middle of a piano. So, the right-hand and left-hand stay very close to each other for the entire song. Try not to run away from each other (hand). This level of arrangement plays only the melody line with both hands without any additional harmonic notes to support the melody. There are 2 black keys with the right-hand and 2 black keys with the left-hand that you need to play in this song. When you see the sharp signs (#) on the music score, please go to the black keys indicated on the tutorial page. We are providing with all the sharped notes with the sharp sign (in some cases in parenthesis). If you see a natural sign, please go back to the original white key.
This is at Level 1, but it is at a higher level of Level 1.
