About "Habanera":

This exotic piece "Habanera" from the opera, Carmen was composed by a French composer, Georges Bizet (1838 - 1875) from the romantic era. Carmen is the best-known composition among all the compositions written by Bizet. And this exotic Spanish sounding "Habanera" is the most famous piece from Carmen

Tips for playing Level 2 "Habanera":

This particular level of arrangement for piano solo is written for the very easy level (Level 2). Therefore, fingering numbers are provided on most notes except some repeated notes and phrases. You can stay in one position for the entire song. After you download it, please take a look at the hand-position tutorial page. The right-hand thumb and left-hand thumb share the key, 'E' in the middle of a piano. So, both hands stay very close to each other for the entire song. Try not to run away from each other (hand). This level of arrangement plays the melody and the additional harmonic notes to support the melody. The left-hand part is a lot busier than the right-hand part in this Level 2 "Habanera." And both hands use black keys. When you see the sharp signs (#) on the music score, please go to the black keys indicated on the tutorial page. Also, remember that from the 2nd sharped note in the same measure, you won't see the sharp signs. However, you do have to assume that those notes are also sharped unless you see a natural sign. If you see the natural sign, go back to the original white key.
