More about this Level 2 "Jupiter Theme":
Jupiter is one of seven movements from the orchestral suite, The Planets written by an English composer, Gustav Holst (1874 - 1934). This theme is a part of complete Jupiter and the popular melody. If you are interested in finding out how the piano solo arrangement of this complete Jupiter sounds like please visit Jupiter. This particular arrangement is in key of C major to accommodate piano players in Level 2 (very easy) even thought the original key for the theme section in Jupiter was written in key of E flat by Holst.
Gustav Holst wrote this suite for each planet (Jupiter, Mars, Neptune, Venus, Saturn, Uranus, and Mercury). He was interested in the solar system and its Greek astrological characteristic of each planet.
