Free Legato-Staccato Coordination
Level 2 - Piano exercise sheet
Overview of this piano exercise
This piano exercise was created for piano learners who can easily do "Legato-Staccato Coordination - Level 1. This is the next level challenge. This will assist them to learn how to play detached notes (or staccato notes) with one hand and play legato notes with the other hand more easily with different intervals, not just stepping up and down. A lot of piano students have a tendency to use both hands either with only staccato or only legato. However, students will run into situations all the time in the near future where they are required to use each hand differently. Please practice very slowly first.
