Free Major Triads Chromatic Ascending Descending - Piano exercise sheet
This is a piano exercise for piano players to find the major triads (chords) easily and quickly. You will be practicing major triads going up and down "Chromatically". Chromatic means going up or down half step each time. This exercise is important not only because you'll be able to find major chords easily but also you can find closed positions (such as C major position, C major 5-finger scale position, or C major Penta scale positions). Be patient when you practice this. It may take some time to get really comfortable with it. But it's worth it !!! First, practice it very slowly with hands separately. Then, gradually increase the tempo. When you get comfortable with one hand alone, try with hands together slowly.
After you get very comfortable with this exercise, please move on to the next level which is Minor Triads - Chromatic Ascending and Descending. If you didn't feel comfortable with this Major Triads - Chromatic Ascending and Descending please try Perfect 5th Chromatic Ascending and Descending first.
