"March" is from the orchestral work for the ballet suite, The Nutcracker, written by a Russian composer, Pyotr Tchaikovsky (1840 - 1893). This particular arrangement is in Level 4 (intermediate level). No sustain pedal is necessary for this piece. In the 2nd section, there are a lot of 16th notes. Therefore start the piece not too fast otherwise it's going to be very difficult to play the 2nd section within the same tempo. Play the staccato notes very crispy, not heavy even though most of the staccato notes have accent sign on them. Remember to do the repeat and D.C. al Coda.
