More about this Level 4 "Minuet in G Major":
Minuet in G Major is probably one of the most famous piano (or other keyboards) minuet pieces. It is in Notebook for Anna Magdalena Bach composed by a German composer & organist, Christian Petzold (1677 – 1733). It was thought to be composed by Johann Sebastian Bach. However the work was created by Petzold. The melody of this Minuet in G Major was used in the pop music "A Lover's Concerto," by the group The Toys. This is one of many manuscripts presented by Johann Sebastian Bach to his 2nd wife, Anna Magdalena. Christian Petzold was an extraordinary composer. However, there are only few surviving works left and this one is one of few. This sheet music is in the original form. And it's in an intermediate level (Level 4). Too make this piece performed smoothly, please work on the each transition including repeats.
