Popularly known as "Moonlight Sonata" is actually Piano Sonata No. 14 in C sharp minor "Quasi una fantasia", Op. 27 by a German composer, Ludwig van Beethoven (1770 - 1827) as a piano solo piece. This one is the 1st movement. This particular arrangement is in Level 2 (very easy level). You do not have to change the positions at all from the beginning until the end. Please refer to the hand position page after purchasing the sheet music. Fingerings are provided on most notes except on the repeated patterns. Beethoven composed this piece in key of C sharp minor. However this arrangement is in key of A minor to accommodate piano players in Level 2.
