More about this Level 1 "Tango in D Major" by Albéniz:
This is a piano sheet music of "Tango in D Major" by Spanish composer Isaac Albéniz (1860 - 1909) from the romantic era and is No. 2 of the suite Espana Op. 165. It is popular for guitar. However, it was originally written for piano by Albéniz.
This is Level 1 (for beginners) of Tango in D Major in the key of C to accommodate the beginners. The fingering numbers are provided on all the notes. Please refer to the hand position tutorial page to locate the proper hand position. There is only 1 hand position that stays for the entire song. However, it is quite challenging for Level 1 because there are a lot of black keys that you do have to play, sometimes even with your thumb. Those black keys are described on the tutorial page as well. When you see a sharp or flat sign on a note on the score, please go to those black keys described on the tutorial page. When you see a natural sign, go back to the white key. In general, stay above the black keys (meaning, placing your hands inside or forward on the piano) so that you can easily reach a black key with your finger, especially with your thumb.
