More about this Level 5 "Tango in D Major" by Albéniz:
"Tango in D Major" was composed by Spanish composer Isaac Albéniz (1860 - 1909) from the romantic era and is No. 2 of the suite Espana Op. 165. It is popular for guitar. However, it was originally written for piano solo by Albéniz. "Tango in D Major" is a softer side of tango.
On this page, we are offering "Tango in D Major" at Level 5 (advanced). It is an only slightly easier arrangement of the original work. And it is in the key of D major which is the original key. We didn't provide damper (sustain) pedal markings. However, you may add pedaling here and there with your taste. We didn't provide any fingering suggestion for this advanced "Tango in D Major." In this arrangement, many additional harmonic notes below the top melody notes with a right hand got removed to be slightly easier than the original work. Please refer to our free complete audio sample. You will find it's quite similar to the original work. If you are not able to play so many harmonic notes with your right hand, this level of arrangement is probably suitable for you.
